Recently, our company started developing an interesting agricultural project with the construction of a progressive goat milking parlor.
Goat breeding has a long history, modern achievements and development trends in the agricultural production culture of the world, which is predetermined by the significant value of goat products.
The main products of goat breeding are down, wool (mohair), milk, meat and skins. It is archaeologically proven that the goat was one of the first of all farm animals to be domesticated. Goats are mobile, friendly and sensitive animals that quickly respond to changes in their environment. Thanks to their inquisitive mind, goats quickly adapt to the daily routine and easily get used to the owner. The sociability of goats is manifested both in relationships with each other and in relation to a person. They can perceive a person as part of their herd and willingly follow her as a leader. If a person was present at the birth of a kid, then later it is perceived by the kids as their own.
Through the culture of consumption formed in our country, the main product on the market, we have goat’s milk, a few facts about this product:

• goat’s milk has a lower fat content, unlike cow’s, which has a positive effect on people’s health, especially those who have a disease of the gastrointestinal tract.
• goat milk is more resistant to environmental influences, therefore the shelf life of this dairy product increases several times.
• goat milk is of better quality and contains many times less lactose, and in certain cases it is suitable even for those who suffer from allergies or intolerances
• goat’s milk proteins are much superior in quality to cow’s milk proteins: they are distinguished by a higher content of piacrine and thiamine, substances indispensable for the functioning of the human body.

Among the 197 countries of the world that breed goats, Ukraine is in 87th city with a population of about 650 thousand heads in recent years, but there are 32 countries in the world in which the total number of goats exceeds 5 million. The leaders, as well as the number of population on the planet, are China and India, countries such as Turkey, Greece, Spain, France and Romania are leaders in Europe in terms of the total livestock. Every year, 457 tons of different types of cheeses are produced from goat milk. Europe is the largest producer of goat milk cheeses, followed by Africa. Among European countries, France traditionally produces the most cheese (88 thousand tons), Ukraine is in sixth place in terms of the production of all types of cheese from goat’s milk. Trends in the modern market and production require modern technologies for processing goat’s milk.
Nowadays, in the world, the hall equipped with a robotic carousel is considered the most progressive milking parlor. A huge number of unique technological solutions are used in this milking parlor.
This parlor uses a huge number of unique technological solutions. The unique robotic carriage allows one operator to milk up to 1300 goats per hour. The milking process ensures exceptional purity and premium milk quality, cycle after cycle. In addition, all the options that are used in traditional parlors can also be used in this system. Goats are unique and capricious animals, therefore, to ensure their maximum comfort, the carousel is additionally provided with a drinker, a year-old and an automated milking machine. The level of completion of the “carousel” depends on the level of automation required by a particular farm.
