TCH has designed a modern rehabilitation centre for military personnel

The TCH team has successfully completed an important stage in the creation of a specialised rehabilitation centre based on an existing hospital building. We developed the full project, which has already passed the state expert review, and also prepared and obtained approval for the medical design brief.
Why is this critically important today?
At present, demand for high-quality rehabilitation significantly exceeds the capacity of existing facilities. The waiting list for recovery reaches 12 patients per bed. In rehabilitation, there is a concept known as the “golden window” — the period during which medical intervention is most effective. Any delay may lead to irreversible loss of bodily functions.
Key features of the future centre:
- 4 floors dedicated to recovery: Full reconstruction of the existing building with space optimization tailored to patients’ needs.
- Specialisation: The centre is equipped to treat severe concussions and complex physical injuries sustained during combat operations.
- Family support: The project includes comfortable rooms for patients to stay together with their loved ones. The support of close family members accounts for 50% of successful psychological recovery.
- Accessibility: 100% inclusivity. Every metre of space has been designed with the needs of people with reduced mobility in mind.
- Modern equipment: Implementation of the latest global recommendations in physical and cognitive rehabilitation.
This project is not just about construction — it is about creating conditions in which our defenders can return to a full life without long waiting times or limitations.
