Construction of a feed mill in Khmelnytskyi Region

Our company’s specialists carry out regular author’s supervision over the implementation of a large-scale industrial facility — a modern feed mill in the village of Mykhniv (Iziaslav Urban Territorial Community, Khmelnytskyi Region).
This project is an example of high technological complexity, where engineering expertise is combined with precise calculations for industrial application.
🏗️ Scale and capacity
The facility is located on a 2.7-hectare site and is designed for a full processing cycle: from raw material intake to finished product storage.
- Capacity: 144,000 tonnes of compound feed per year.
- Purpose: Intake, production, and storage of animal feed.
⚙️ Technical challenges of the project
Design and author’s supervision at this facility require particular attention due to:
- Complex geological conditions of the site.
- High dynamic loads from powerful process equipment.
- High-rise structures: design of the main monolithic frame building with a height of 35 m, bucket elevator towers up to 45 m high, as well as above-ground and underground conveyor galleries.
📋 Facility composition:
The project includes a full range of structures required for the autonomous operation of the enterprise:
- Receiving unit: grain intake section for road transport and an underground gallery.
- Production block: a compound feed workshop and a specialized soybean processing workshop.
- Warehouse logistics: silos for raw materials, temporary storage silos, and tanks for finished products.
- Oil segment: a modern tank farm for oil storage.
- Infrastructure: bucket elevator towers (up to 45 m), a truck weighbridge, and an extensive network of transport galleries.
Status: At this stage, we are monitoring the compliance of construction and installation works with the design solutions, ensuring the reliability of every structure under future operational loads.
